Miller's Seawall Grill of Galveston

Cheesy, really cheesy grits.  This is a special order or a side order upgrade at Miller's Seawall Grill.  This restaurant serves breakfast all day.  My kind of place.

Miller's is located on Seawall Drive.  Just take I-45 from Houston into Galveston.  Turn right on any street to get to Seawall, and drive down Seawall to Miller's.  GPS it!

Crab Benedict:

This was my evening breakfast before a cruise.  Poached eggs on crabmeat, doesn't get much better than that after the Hollandaise sauce is added.  This is an eat-slow, savor dinner.

Biscuits & Gravy:

My girlfriend Jewell ordered this with her sunrise breakfast.  See the sunlight.  Miller's has a rather large biscuit to cover with gravy.

French Toast:

This was my sunrise breakfast.  The powdered sugar on the toast looks like a morning snow.  The bread is cut in Texas toast size.  As Andy Griffin would say, "this is gooooood!"

Two-Egg Breakfast:

The morning sunlight is washing out this picture as well.  Here it is: two eggs over easy with bacon, toast, and hash browns.  You can change the meat, bread, and side dish.

Shrimp & Onion Rings:

This was Jewell's diner the night before.  The batter on the shrimp and rings was so light that I thought it was tempura.  And the shrimp were fresh.  But did you expect anything less ... we're on Galveston Island!

I had forgotten why I took this photo, then I realized it was their homemade tarter sauce.  This stuff is great and a must if you are ordering fried seafood.
