West Side Cafe, Fort Worth

Country sausage for breakfast ... not too many places have that on the menu.  And look at that biscuit ... perfectly cooked.

Tattoo parlor is next door.  I come to the West Side Cafe for the breakfast when I'm in Fort Worth.  And yes, the restaurant is on the west side.  The cafe is located near the corner of Camp Bowie West and Cherry Lane.  If you're not a local, this place is a trick to find but worth the trip.  Go west on I-20 and take Exit 432A then travel on TX183 toward Southwest Blvd.  For the rest of the way, consult your GPS.

Ultimate Burrito:

The ultimate burrito hosts two eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, and cheddar cheese.  It also comes with potatoes but I asked the waiter to put them on the side.

Country Breakfast:

The country breakfast comes with three eggs, choice of meats, and two buttermilk pancakes.

Look at the wonderful pancakes!

Two Eggs Any Style:

The two-egg plate comes with toast or biscuits-n-gravy and a choice of meats.

Grits:

In addition to hashbrowns, grits are made at the cafe.  And you can see that they are not the instant.

Sheet Cakes:

The place has a lot of one-layer rectangular-pan cakes on display for desert.  This one, I took back to the hotel for a late night snack.  It was German chocolate cake and was really good.
