Crepes are the main reasons that I come to the Sattler Bakery. And they make three styles of crepes here.
You have to find Sattler to find the baking company. Once there, the bakery is on the main drag, FM 2673, just south of the traffic light. If you are coming from US-281, go east either on TX 46 until you get to FM-2722 or on FM-306 until you get to 2673. If you are coming from I-35, then go west either on TX-46 until you get to Fm-2722 or on FM-306 until you get to 2673. From TX-46, you turn north and 2722 will run into FM 2673; continue north on 2673. If you are coming from FM-306, you turn south on 2673.
Strawberry & Cream Crepes:
This has to be their signature dish! Crepes filled and topped with strawberries and heavy whipping cream. And they add a lot of swirly things on the plate, strawberry and chocolate.
Berry Blintzes:
This is my favorite and for good reason. These crepes are stuffed with sweetened ricotta cheese and sour cream and are topped with mixed berries ... blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
Peach Crepes:
Every crepe on the menu is decadently different. These crepes are stuffed with peaches and topped with a caramel pecan sauce. OMG!
Apple French Toast:
French toast with stewed apples and raisons on top. Imagine this is an apple pie filling on top of French toast. Oh, and all of the above come with a side. With this plate, I ordered sausage paddies.
Chicen-Fried Steak:
Above is the chicken fried steak with cream on the side. The over easy eggs are on the side. Below is the chicken fried steak with the cream. The over medium eggs are on the side.
Eggs Benedict:
Look at that Hollandaise sauce on the poached eggs. This is a great delicacy here or anywhere for that matter. It comes with a fruit cup, but I cropped the cup out of the photo. Breakfast Bro doesn't do fruit cups.
Eggs-in-a-Nest:
One egg grilled in the center cut-out of a slice of house-made Ekmek bread. This dish comes with a side of bacon or sausage. And they give you the hole grilled as well. See the grilled circle of bread at one o'clock.
Eggs O'Brian
Thank you for whoever O'Brian is for this dish. Here they sauté hashbrowns and add sausage, onions, and bell pepper. The bakery covers it with two eggs cooked the way you want. I chose over easy.
I upped the anti and ordered a side of cream gravy. See the photo below.
Omelet Station
You can get any combination of cheddar, ham, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, picante sauce. You can also choose all of the above. All of the above sounds good to me.
Breakfast Specials:
The breakfast specials are like five bucks. And look at what you get: scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. The other choice is to have a biscuit instead of pancakes and sausage paddy instead of bacon.
Sattler has breakfast all day and lunch as well:
